- Hails judiciary for upholding justice, fairness, and restoring the people’s confidence
Former Osun PDP Caretaker Chairman, Dr Akindele Adekunle, has sent his heartfelt congratulations to the people’s governor, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his reaffirmation as the people’s Governor of Osun by the Supreme Court
Dr Akindele, in his congratulatory message, salutes the dogged spirit of “Imole,” as Governor Ademola Adeleke is fondly called.
He equally salutes the huge support the government of the state and the party enjoy from the generality of Osun people. He asserted that, with the unanimous decision of the five members of the Lord Justices of the Supreme Court that affirmed Governor Ademola Adeleke, Osun State is now finally liberated
” Have once said whether Supreme or Ecowas Court, or even Basketball court, Governor Ademola Adeleke will remain victorious and this is evident in the unanimous decision the mandate of the Governor enjoys from the Lord Justices of the Supreme Court”
The medical doctor turn politician also hailed the judiciary for upholding the tenet of fairness and justice in their unanimous verdict.
” I want to commend and applaud the Lord Justice of the Supreme Court for upholding the tenet of justice and fairness in the Osun Guber case
” I hail the judiciary for upholding fairness and justice in their final judgment. By this, the people’s confidence has been restored in the judiciary arm of the government of our nation.”
” The unanimous decision by the five judges of the supreme Court just like the appellate court had shown what we had at the Tribunal before was utterly a miscarriage of justice. However, by this judgment, the People’s confidence in the Judiciary has been restored and reinforced as the last hope of the common man.
Dr Akindele further urged Oyetola and Osun Apc to learn from President Buhari and show the spirit of sportsmanship in moving Osun forward.
” I want to urge the Osun Apc and Oyetola to bury their hatchet and join hands with the PDP government in the state to move Osun forward. If President Muhammadu Buhari can congratulate the people’s Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke of his victory, nothing stop Osun Apc and Oyetola of toeing that same line of path, bury their hatchet and join the people’s Governor of the Osun in deed and in action in moving the state forward,” the medical doctor turn politician submitted.
