The Deputy Minority Leader Of The Senate, Akogun Lere Oyewumi has congratulated the Alapomu of Apomu Kingdom, Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi, Atoyebi II on his 60th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory statement signed his media unit and made available to newsmen described the Atoyebi II as a distinguished royal father and worthy ambassador of the state.
He stated that the tenure of the Monarch has witnessed huge success, unprecedented growth and development in his domain.
According to the statement, Oyewumi lauded the traditional ruler for prioritizing the welfare of his subjects. He also commended the traditional ruler’s commitment to the peace, stability, and development of Apomu in Isokan Local Government of Osun West Senatorial District, Osun State, and Nigeria as a whole since he ascended the throne.
He, however, extends his best wishes to the Oba Adenekan and the entire Apomu community on the Diamond Jubilee of His Royal Majesty. The Distinguished Senator Lere Oyewumi joins the people of Apomu, Osun West Senatorial District to felicitate the Alapomu, wish him many more years of happiness, and commend him to continue being that resourceful and peace-loving monarch that he has always been.
Oyewumi also prayed to Almighty God to continue to endow Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi, Atoyebi II with wisdom, good health, and strength to continue to serve his people, our senatorial district, state, and country.
