The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has lauded the NYSC Scheme in the State for felicitating with him on the occasion of his birthday and victory at the Supreme Court in Abuja.
Governor Adeleke could not hide his joy upon seeing the NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Agbor Ndoma Obim, Management team and the NYSC band at his residence in Ede.
NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr. Agbor Ndoma Obim and his team paid a surprise visit to celebrated the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his birthday and congratulated him on the affirmation of his governorship by the Supreme Court in Abuja.
Agbor and his team gifted the Governor with a portrait of him wearing the official NYSC crested vest, which he received with joy and amusement.
Agbor thanked Governor Adeleke for the warm reception that the NYSC Osun State team received during their previous meeting with the Governor at the Bola Ige House in Osogbo on the 2nd of May 2023. He also thanked him for making good on his promises to fulfil the requests brought forward by the Scheme.
Agbor stated that since the previous meeting, the Governor had sent Engineers to the Camp to inspect facilities in preparation for renovations.
The State Coordinator also Informed Governor Adeleke about the cultural carnival taking place across all NYSC Orientation Camps across the country. He explained how the carnival promotes national integration through the display, appreciation and celebration of several cultures in the country.
He thanked the Governor for honoring the invite to the carnival through the presence of his PA Special Duties at the carnival.
