The Osun State government under the Ademola Adeleke led administration is set to revitalize all Technical Colleges in a bid to enhance Vocational Education in the state for the creation of jobs and boost the economy.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical and Vocational Studies Arc. Dapo Ademola-Adesina gave the hint on Wednesday while on a working visit to Government Technical College, Osogbo.
He said the Adeleke government is ready to give all Technical Colleges in the state a total face-lift in a bid to enhance and develop technical and vocational education.
The Special Adviser while lamenting the current unemployment rate in the society, said technical and vocational studies is the surest way to meeting the state’s present and future socio-economic needs.
While describing governor Adeleke as an individual who cares about the development of Osun State, he assured that the present administration is ready to transform technical and vocational studies in the state.
He explained that major stakeholders in the sector have been met in a bid to explore collaborative opportunities for positive results in the scheme.
The Special Adviser further assured that all the nine technical colleges will beneficiaries of the face-lifting.
