The Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State has felicitated with members of the party being inaugurated today as elected legislators in the national assembly, describing them as great ambassadors of Osun State.
The state PDP chairman, Hon Sunday Bisi in a congratulatory message to the newly inaugurated senators and members of the house of representatives on Tuesday, charged them to live up to the billing of the people which earned them their present status.
Hon Bisi particularly rejoiced with the federal lawmakers for their steadfastness with the party and urged them to deploy their wealth of experience to help the rebuilding process of the nation, through responsive legislation, oversight and developmental interventions.
“We take cognisance of the enormous expectations of the good people of Osun State who in their wisdom, chose to give members of our great party across the three senatorial districts and the nine federal constituencies the opportunity to serve the nation at this auspicious time in the history of our nation.
“We are confident that our distinguished senators and House of Representatives members will do everything within their powers never to take the love of our people for granted”
“It is also imperative for the lawmakers to work in utmost synergy and fashion out bills, motions and necessary legislative collaborations with the governor of the state, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for the good of the state,” he said.
