Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment, calling on investors to take advantage of the state’s peace and growing economic potential.
He made the call during a courtesy visit by delegation from Alpha Morgan Bank Limited, led by the Group Managing Director, Mr. Ade Buraimo, on Wednesday at the Government House, Banquet Hall in Osogbo.
In his address, Governor Adeleke assured the visitors that Osun remains one of the most peaceful states in the country, emphasising that the government is focused on ensuring adequate infrastructure, security, and investor support to foster business growth.
“We are glad for your visit and your interest in establishing a branch in Osun state.
“Osun state is peaceful for business, and we remain committed to creating an adequate environment for investors and financial institutions.
“Let me assure you of this administration’s full support and cooperation in ensuring this project thrives” the governor stated,
Earlier in his remarks, Mr. Buraimo commended the governor’s leadership while announcing that the bank’s plan to open 14 branches nationwide, with the second branch located in Ede, Osun State.
He, however, pledged the bank’s support for the state’s development, noting that the only thing they need from the governor is advice and backing.
“We have come to celebrate the Governor and to appreciate God in his life. If this is how other previous Governors have given attention to the state, it would have moved faster than this.
“God has brought us to this place and we are going to support you, Mr Governor and the government.
We want two things from you sir, your support and advice” he added.
