The ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State has again urged stakeholders, especially the good people of Osun State to discountenance all forms of idleness induced distractions from the Apc, saying, the badly hurt opposition can never do any better than resorting to emotive rabble rousers.
Hon Sunday Bisi, the state PDP Chairman, made the call while commenting on the pains being exhibited by the Apc over yesterday’s appeal court dismissal of the frivolous suit challenging the nullification of the better forgotten, ‘job for the boys’ local government election conducted during the defeated Apc government led by Mr Gboyega Oyetola.
Reminding the people of Osun State of the critical importance of year 2025 in consolidating the progress already recorded in the state by the Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration, Hon Sunday Bisi advised members of the public to leave Apc to its troubles and never allow the evidently drowning opposition derail the current wheel of progress as desperate survival straw for their fragmented party.
According to Osun PDP helsman, ‘the Apc as a nest of confutionists has never been home with the truth in all encounters, either on the political turf where concurrent defeats stare them in the face as sure as death, or court cases where they stand no chance. Those are not the class of human beings deserving of any serious attention from all of us given to renewed mission of reshaping the state from their ruinous reign of financial gangsterism.
“We want to assure the people of the state that the local government election the Apc is desperately plotting to stop will hold”. It will hold because having elected representatives of the people at that tier of government will in no small measure, complement the fantastic efforts of people’s Governor, Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke”
“We also assure that the democratic local government administration in the state will be a 360° departure from the conduit pipes of corruption with which Apc administered the local governments. It is our belief that whoever wins in the forthcoming local government election will be adequately compelled to act on the side of the people as against the rudderlessness of the angry opposition ‘
The good people of Osun State should note that Governor Ademola Adeleke is a complete different breed of a political leader. The Governor, since assumption of office, has jettisoned mundane party politics of projects abandonment, instead, he ensured continuity and completion of projects abandoned on the altar of avoidable bickrings between Mr Oyetola and his former boss in office. Mr Governor has also ensured that same contractors handling the projects before his administration are made to continue with the projects, all in the overall interest of the state.
Such a Governor can only be a working example for the incoming local government administration and therefore, members of the public must discard Apc media maladies as a mere waste of time and a subtle plot to bring everyone to their low life, political scavenging.
“We are also not unaware of other barage of lawsuits, pending and those being contemplated by the Apc to stop the local government election but we assure, they will fail as they have always failed”.
