Osun First Lady celebrates Ooni of Ife at 50

…eulogizes him as a unifier, special blessing to the Yoruba Kingdom

The First Lady of Osun State, Titilola Adeleke has described His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, (Ojaja II), the Ooni of Ife as a quintessential traditional ruler who has brought great admiration to royalty, a sound custodian and sustainer of the rich Yoruba culture with impeccable excellence.

In her congratulatory message to the monarch on his 50th birthday on Thursday, Adeleke posited that Ooni of Ife is a divine blessing to Ile-Ife, Osun State and the entire Yoruba race.

She acknowledged the various contributions of Ooni to the preservation and promotion of Yoruba culture and admonished his effort towards strengthening unity among the black race and indeed promoting the traditional institution enviably, are unquantifiable.

She said; “Your birth anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate your exceptionality, you are an epitome of intelligence, culture and intellectualism, all in royalty.

“As a stickler of excellence in character and humility, your repository of knowledge has immensely yielded stelar records in nation development.

“I warmly extend my heartfelt congratulations to Arole Oduduwa on this auspicious celebration of the Golden Jubilee of his birth anniversary. As you continue to age with grace, candour and resplendence, I wish you long reign and sound health in the service to humanity”.
