Osun State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of some suspects in connection with the killing of a 28-year-old man, Ibrahim Kudus in Okanla area of Irepodun Local Government of the state on Sunday.
The victim, who was an admission seeker was killed by gunmen who attacked a house where he was staying, shot him to death, threw his body into a car and set it ablaze.
Addressing Journalists in Osogbo on Monday, Police spokesperson for the command, Yemisi Opalola, noted that normalcy had returned to the area while some suspects had been arrested.
She said, “We have made arrests concerning the incident and the CP, Kehinde Longe, has deployed officers to the area to maintain law and order.
“Presently, Police officers are on ground in the area and normalcy has returned, and people are going about their lawful businesses.”
