Spokesperson to the Osun state Governor, Olawale Rasheed has reiterated that Governor Adeleke is committed to peace, restoration, law and order in the state.
SAHEL recalls that Commissioner for Information, Kolapo Alimi announced that the Osun state government has imposed curfew on Ifon/Ilobu, on Sunday.
Alimi also disclosed that the curfew would hold “until further notice” between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
While speaking with Sahel etv on Monday, Olawale stated that curfew was imposed on Ifon and ilobu Community in order to ensure that there’s restoration of peace and order.
“The essence of the curfew is to ensure that there’s immediate restoration and order, that’s why the governor made the declaration.
“Already, there are ongoing consultation and interaction with the community leaders on both side of Ifon and ilobu to discuss the issue and find a way out, also a round table for stakeholders is ongoing.
“The reality is that Governor is very close to the table and he has been going round.
