Osun State Government under the leadership of Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has reiterated its commitment to improve the commercial activities of the State.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Market Affairs, Hon. (Mrs) Eniola Omotoso reaffirmed this during a verification visit to markets in Ila-Orangun, Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, Odo-Otin, and Oriade Local Governments respectively.
Hon. Eniola said the purpose of the visit was to explain and enlighten the market women and men on harmonisation of internally generated revenue (IGR) and the roles they need to play in their various markets.
Recall that a one-day sensitization seminar was organized for Consultants, marketwomen and men across the state, with a view to boosting the internally generated revenue.
Hon. Eniola enjoined them to join the moving train of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration to transform the commercial activities of the State, saying that the comfort of the Osun people is paramount to the present administration.
The visit continues next week as it was designed to cut across market places in the nooks and crannies of the State.
