Governor Ademola Adeleke has donated the sum of five million naira to the families of a deceased officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) of the Osun State command.
In a release by the Public Relations Officer of NSCDC in Osun, ASC Kehinde Adeleke, he said, “His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke has donated the sum of five million Naira to support the educational needs of the children of a fallen hero of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence(NSCDC) Osun State Command, who paid the supreme price, last year, 2024, while serving the nation.”
Commandant Sotiyo, while presenting the donation to the family of the deceased officer on behalf of the State Governor, said “Governor Ademola Adeleke expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and encouraged them to use the money for the educational needs of his children.”
Osun NSCDC boss who appreciated the Governor for his support, compassion, and service to humanity noted that such act goes a long way in boosting the morale of officers serving in Osun State.
Speaking during the donation, the family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Governor Adeleke for the kind gesture and assured that the money would be used judiciously
