The annual international women’s conference aimed at addressing inequalities violence and discrimination of the women gender was held in New York between the 6th and 17th of March 2023.
The Osun State delegation was led by the wife of the Osun State Governor, Chief Mrs Titilayo Adeleke in recognition of her sincere love, unrivaled support for gender equality, the empowerment of the girl child advocacy, equal rights and economic enhancement.
Chief Mrs Titilayo Adeleke in enumerating the popular saying “Empower the girl child and develop a generation” further reminded women worldwide and Osun State in particular on the imperative need for self development as a measure of relevance in global development.
With relevance to this year’s theme titled innovation Technological change and education in today’s digital age, Chief Mrs Adeleke further stressed the importance of today’s technology advancement as a great enabler for economic growth and general development.
