The Osun Youths and Elders Advocate for Good Governance (O’YEAGG) has praised Governor Ademola Adeleke for his remarkable achievements as he approaches his second year in office.
Governor Adeleke, who defeated former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, the present Minister of Marine and Blue Economy of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the July 16, 2022, Osun State gubernatorial election, has been described as a dynamic and hardworking leader. His victory and subsequent accomplishments highlight his dedication to transformative governance.
Under Governor Adeleke’s leadership, Osun State has witnessed significant progress across various sectors. His administration has embarked on several impactful initiatives, including road construction and rehabilitation, advancements in agriculture and food security, the renovation of primary healthcare centers, adequate payment of workers Salaries, payment of backlog half salaries, the implementation of the Osun Health Insurance Scheme (O’HIS), the recruitment of teachers, classroom renovations, youth empowerment programs, the construction of flyovers, and the installation of solar-powered streetlights. The administration has also made notable contributions to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, fostering economic growth and development.
The O’YEAGG lauded these initiatives as transformative and aligned with its objectives of promoting good governance in Osun State. The forum noted that the state has undergone a positive transformation under Governor Adeleke’s leadership, distinguishing his administration from its predecessor.
