Coalition of Civil Society Organizations for Good Governance has addressed the recent backlash from Osun All Progressive Congress ( APC) towards the state Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke.
In a statement signed by Comrade Olalekan Johnson, Spokesman for Coalition of Civil Society Organizations for Good Governance on Monday, emphasized that APC’s recent criticisms reflected a lack of decorum and an underlying agenda that is detrimental to the progress of Osun State.
The statement, however noted that despite the personal attacks towards the Adeleke, it is important to reiterate that the majority of Osun citizens, both at home and in the diaspora, stand firmly behind Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Adeleke’s Bitter Critics are Enemies of Ongoing Osun Development
In recent weeks, the media landscape has been inundated with disparaging remarks directed at Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State. Critics, particularly from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), have intensified their attacks, employing uncharitable rhetoric aimed at undermining the Governor’s transformative initiatives. This relentless barrage of insults not only reflects a lack of decorum but also reveals an underlying agenda that is detrimental to the progress of Osun State.
It is important to recognize that those who have taken it upon themselves to routinely denigrate Governor Adeleke represent forces that stand against the positive transformation occurring in Osun state. These individuals, motivated by political malice rather than genuine concern for the welfare of the people, have positioned themselves as enemies of the developmental strides that the Governor’s administration is championing. Their actions are not just personal attacks; they are assaults on the aspirations of Osun citizens who seek a brighter future.
