The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has stated that the party is not just an Igbo party but a national party with a strong presence and growing influence across Nigeria.
Wole Adedoyin, the Chairman of APGA in Osun State, made this statement during a press conference held in Osogbo today. He emphasized that while the party enjoys significant support in the southeast, its reach extends far beyond any single region.
“Despite the widely held misconception, APGA is not an Igbo party,” Adedoyin declared. “We are a national party with members and supporters from all ethnic groups across Nigeria. We believe in inclusivity and equal representation for all.”
Adedoyin further commended Governor Charles Soludo, the current Governor of Anambra State, for his contributions to the growth and development of the party. He acknowledged the Governor’s leadership, vision, and commitment to good governance, which have significantly enhanced APGA’s reputation and credibility.
“We are incredibly proud of Governor Soludo’s achievements in Anambra State,” Adedoyin stated. “His dedication to serving the people, promoting transparency, and driving economic growth has set a positive example for all APGA members and supporters nationwide.”
In addition, Adedoyin lauded APGA National Chairman, Barr. Sylvester Ezeokenwa, for his remarkable leadership and vision. He commended the Chairman’s commitment to strengthening the party’s structures, expanding its reach, and formulating policies that promote national unity and development.
“Barr. Ezeokenwa has provided exceptional leadership for APGA,” Adedoyin said. “He has implemented several strategic initiatives that have significantly strengthened the party at the national level. We are grateful for his dedication and commitment to our shared goals.”
Adedoyin also expressed optimism about APGA’s future and its potential to play a significant role in shaping the Nigerian political landscape. He encouraged Nigerians from all walks of life to join the party and contribute to its continued growth and success.
“APGA is a party with a clear vision and a bright future,” Adedoyin concluded. “We are committed to building a better Nigeria for all, and we invite Nigerians from all backgrounds to join us on this journey.”
