Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has expressed sympathy with the management and staff of Diamond FM, Ilesa, following the recent rainstorm that caused damage to the station’s premises.
The Governor’s condolence message was delivered by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, who paid a visit to the radio station on Saturday to assess the extent of the destruction.
Rasheed conveyed the Governor’s concern over the incident and extended solidarity to the affected media outfit, acknowledging the role of the station in information dissemination across the state.
He also assured the management of the government’s support, while urging residents and organisations to take necessary precautions during the rainy season to minimise risks associated with severe weather conditions.
The rainstorm, which affected parts of Ilesa, reportedly caused varying degrees of damage to properties, including the Diamond FM facility.
