The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has expressed affectionate gratitude to God for sparing the life of his sister, Chief Mrs Modupeola Adeleke- Sanni as she celebrates her birthday today.
The Governor described the opportunity to celebrate with his sister on her birthday as Governor of Osun State, the first she would celebrate since he assumed office as the state helmsman.
In the emotion laden message to his sister, Governor Adeleke recalled the memorable roles Yeyeluwa had played in his life since his childhood days, not just as a sister, but more as a mother.
In his words, the Osun State Governor wrote; ” My Sister, my everything.
I will never forget the reasons why divine providence had bound us together since our early days in life.
“We shared so many laughs and thoughts and also boosted each other up when we were down.
“You’ve been that very strong pillar I leaned on during so many crunchy moments of my life. You are a strong woman inside out and I believe still, there are plenty of sweet memories to come”
“Your resourcefulness had propelled my industrious instincts as well as providing a veritable learning curve for me growing up till the present height. You are one seriously resourceful woman, sis.
“I know you have been through so many hard times too, but you never gave up.
“You are my idol and you know it. I love you for your inner stamina, the strongest woman in this entire world with such a positive approach to life.
“Word will fail me to express my joy on this beautiful day, Maami, Omo Balogun”
