Isese not associated with money, killing ritual – Osun TRWASO President declares

The Osun State chapter of Traditional Religion Worshippers Association, TRWASO, has declared that Isese is not associated with money or killing ritual, urging law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate and prosecute anyone found guilty accordingly.

Speaking on Tuesday during the fifth swearing-in ceremony of TRWASO State Excos in Osogbo, the Association’s President, Dr Oluseyi Atanda reaffirmed that there is no verse of Ifa that prescribes money ritual.

He enjoined youths to be weary of the kind of friends they associate with and to also desist from bad company, greed and borrowed culture.

According to him; “Finally, Isese is not associated with ritual killings or money ritual. Anybody caught by law enforcement officers should be thoroughly investigated and if guilty, be prosecuted accordingly. There is no verse of Ifa that prescribes money ritual and our fathers have said that money ritual is alien to our religion and culture.

“We enjoin our youths to be weary of the kind of friends they associate with as the present viral case is a clear association of greed, bad company and borrowed culture as revealed in the viral video.

“Olorisas are GOD fearing and loving people and we must always be examples of true believers of GOD. Let us show by example.”

Atanda further reiterated the association’s commitment to continue supporting Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration through offering of prayers and continuous spiritual consultations to God to always guide the administration on the right steps to be taken.

“I want to state that TRWASO will continue to give our support to the government and we shall continue to offer prayers and continuous spiritual consultations to always guide the administration on the right steps to be taken. Together, we can all lift Osun state to an envious position in the comity of states across the nation”, he concluded.
