It is a crystal clear fact, and a very sound opinion that, the most difficult job to do is trying to market a very bad product, or better still, trying to demarket a marketable product. On the other hand, the easiest job you can do without receiving public backslashes is to market a generally loved ‘item’.
The above fact, clearly interprets the latest self-inflicted agony, vituperations and disappointments Osun Chapter of the APC now battles with.
They are trying frantically, days and nights to play politics of bitterness with people’s emotions, simply because they are bittered with the developmental giant strides of the administration of His Excellency, Sen Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State.
While it is never a crime to be an alternative voice for the government of the day, which is democratically expected to be the primary duty of an opposition party, Osun APC has instead diminished into a complete laughing stock among men and women of conscience in the state and beyond, simply because, they want to sell a non-existent narratives of bad governance to Osun People which ordinarily characterized their shameful tenure and the cause of their eventual rejection by the ever resilient people of Osun State through the ballots in the July, 16th, 2022 Governorship election.
Ever since this PDP-led administration came on board, it has swung very decisively into action and Mr Governor’s magical approaches to every tiny details of governance symbolizes a seamless understanding of what the people want at the right locations and at the appropriate time.
For the records, APC suffered a massive blow by the results of July 16th gubernatorial elections in the state, and the distasteful manner in which they were roundly beaten by the PDP in the 2023 General elections and state assembly elections confirmed the all important reason they have suddenly turned to ‘noisy neighbor’ – causing distraction, needless provocation and rantings at any slight opportunity.
Let us focus on one key substance that is making the Osun APC ‘cry’ all over the radio stations in the state, also they had gone haywire in print media and through their halleluyah boys on social media, and that important substance is the “UNPRECEDENTED PERROFMACE OF GOVERNOR ADEMOLA ADELEKE IN OSUN STATE”.
The state helmsman, since his inauguration on the 27th of November, 2022 has only focused on infrastructure turnaround, civil service welfare, adequate welfare of the retirees, Security of lives and properties, economic and financial improvement, health sector revamp, agriculture revolution, education reform and development – these among other sterling performances has endeared Governor Ademola Adeleke closer to the hearts of every well meaning indigenes and residents of the state.
With the ongoing construction of 10spans Flyover in Oke Fia, Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State, and the dualization of Old-Gagare to Lameco roundabouts, completion of the second lane of Ona baba ona Ring Road from Ilesha Garage to Testing Ground, then with over 150km already completed road projects across State, another 1.5km inner township roads per local Government currently going on in the 30 local government areas in the state.
The dualization of the Ilesha/Akure express road from the Palace of Owa Obokun of Ijesha land to brewery, Ilesha, and first of its Kind flyover in Lagere/Mayfair roundabout in Ile ife, among other mouthwatering projects in the state have truly sends palpable fears and tensions down the spine of the opposition camp, APC, ahead of the 2026 governorship elections.
As a matter of fact, people of Osun State, who witnessed the inglorious reign of the last APC administration cannot forget in a hurry the close-to-nothing the then government did to improve the infrastructure deficit across the state.
If the only ‘flyover’ that was constructed at Orita Olaiya was the star project of the past ‘Olule’ APC administration in the state, then, we should, by now, understand very clearly why they have been running from poles to pillars to organize all sort of ‘janjaweed’ press conferences and false propaganda – all to sell a completely bad product.
The rate at which His Excellency Sen Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State is constructing important roads across every local government in the state, together with positive impacts in all sectors of governance, the opposition APC will continue to wail, hate and momour in vain, simply because they lacked the locus standi to question what they have failed to do when they were in power.
With the current pace of work in Osun State, His Excellency, Sen Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke is leaving no stone unturned in making sure that Osun becomes an economic epic center in no distant time courtesy of this giant strides in infrastructure.
Osun State is in safe hands under the leadership of Ademola Adeleke, no matter how bitter the opposition elements are, the great people of Osun remains resolute and unperturbed by their shenanigans – LIGHT SHALL FOREVER PREVAIL OVER DARKNESS!
