When completed, these projects, coupled with the ambitious plan to construct a minimum of 1.5 km of road in each local government area, will not only silence the critics of Governor Adeleke and elevate the standard of living in the state but undoubtedly boost the economy of the State.
For instance, Osogbo, the state capital, is at the heart of Governor Adeleke’s infrastructural revolution. The city of Osogbo, under Ademola Adeleke’s administration is witnessing a series of transformative projects designed to enhance its urban landscape and improve the quality of life for its residents. These projects range from road expansions, dualization, flyovers, to the construction of modern public facilities. Such developments in no doubt ease traffic congestion, at the same time attract businesses and tourists, boosting the local economy.
In Ede, Governor Adeleke’s hometown, infrastructural improvements are bridging the gap between rural and urban life. The focus on developing road networks and public amenities ensures that the city remains connected and accessible, fostering economic growth and social cohesion. Similarly, in Ilesha, significant investments in infrastructure are set to rejuvenate the city. By improving road networks and enhancing public services, the administration is laying a strong foundation for sustainable development. Ile-Ife, known for its rich cultural heritage, is also benefiting from Governor Adeleke’s infrastructural agenda. The administration’s focus on enhancing road connectivity and public utilities is pivotal in preserving the city’s historical significance while promoting its development as a modern urban center. These efforts will attract tourists and encourage investment in local businesses and industries.
In Otan Ayegbaju, Ila, Ikirun and Iwo, the focus is on improving connectivity through access roads. By upgrading roads infrastructure, Governor Adeleke’s administration is ensuring that these cities are not left behind in the state’s developmental stride. Better roads mean easier access to markets, healthcare, and educational facilities, thus improving the overall quality of life for residents.
The vision of this government extends beyond major cities earlier stated. The plan to construct at least 1.5 km of road in each local government area is a bold step towards ensuring inclusive development.
