By Tolulope Akande

Spokesperson to Osun State Governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed has declared that Senator Ademola Adeleke has made it impossible for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ever return to govern the state.

Speaking on the third year anniversary of the Governor in office, Olawale maintained in just three transformative years, Governor Ademola Adeleke has repositioned Osun State through massive, coordinated development across all ministries.

He added that his administration’s style of result-driven governance has produced achievements tangible enough that many now agree that Adeleke has made it nearly impossible for the APC to regain power in Osun state.

Touching on different sectors, he said, “through the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, the state has witnessed the dualization of major roads in Osogbo, Ile-Ife, Ilesa, Ikirun to Ila-Odo Road, Ede and Iwo. Multiple overhead bridges currently rising in Osogbo and Ife reflect a government finally delivering long-awaited urban modernization.

“Each of the 30 LGAs has also benefitted from at least 1.5km of newly constructed or rehabilitated roads, proving Adeleke’s commitment to fair, even development.

“The Ministry of Water Resources has also set a historic record. Under Adeleke’s leadership, all 332 wards across Osun now have functional boreholes, an achievement no previous administration has matched. This investment has drastically improved access to clean water, particularly in rural communities.

“Across the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the groundbreaking Imole Youth Corps has empowered thousands of young people with skills, training, and opportunities for self-sustainability. The rehabilitation of Osogbo city stadium to FIFA and CAF Standard further demonstrates Adeleke’s mission to build a generation with hope and direction.

“The Ministry of Education has embarked on renovation of dilapidated schools, provision of learning materials, teacher motivation. These interventions have improved learning conditions and boosted student enrollment.

“The Health Ministry has upgraded primary health centers, improved maternal care, and expanded access to essential drugs, ensuring healthier communities, even attracting recognition from outside Osun State.

“From infrastructure to youth development, health, water, and education, Governor Ademola Adeleke has touched every sector with impact and intention. In only three years, he has delivered the kind of development that convinces Osun people that going back to the old order is no longer an option.

“How then does APC hopes to ever return in Osun? Its an impossible fraction, they can only three because if this has happened on just three years, Osun people should watchout for will happen in the next twelve months of this first term but rest assured that Ademola Adeleke will remain in office till 2030.”
