The Senior Special Assistant on Climate Change to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Egnr Moruff Adedapo, has congratulated the Governor on the remarkable one year anniversary Osun has witnessed under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The Governor’s Aide congratulates the Governor on the impressive performance in office in all sectors of the state, especially as it concerns the environment and climate change action.
He said one of such success story of the administration is the successful launching of the Osun State Renewable energy and Climate change agenda which has put the state on national limelight with the state selected as a pilot site for the carbon investment project.
“This is in addition to the ambitious climate agenda of the administration in protecting the environment from the catastrophic impact of climate change. And all these gains of the Adeleke administration are already bearing fruits as the National Council on Climate Change (NCCC) has selected the Ago Owu Forest in Ayedade Local Government of the state to participate in a project aimed at supporting the implementation of the Climate Change Action Plan and the Nationally Determined Contributions under the Paris Agreement.
“While all of these and more have been achieved by Governor Adeleke in 12 months, the Governor aide reiterated the best is yet to come as the Governor is making continuous efforts to make live easy for the citizens and residents of the state.
