The Secretary to the State Government of Osun State, Hon. Teslim Igbalaye has solicited for unity and renewed consecration from the people of Osun as the state clocks 32 today.
The SSG noted this, in a statement signed by his media aide, Kehinde Adeoye that as today marks a day for celebration, it also allows for sober reflection, looking back at where we began and where we are today.
In his words, “Today, we celebrate a huge landmark in the history our dear State. Not only are we ecstatic, but we carefully take a stroll down the memory lane as we reminisce, looking back at how far we have gone and the humongous progress we have made.”
“As we clock 32, we remain committed to the development of our dear state. We pledge our unadulterated loyalty and renewed consecration to the ideals that founded Osun, the ideals that our founding fathers held dear and sacred.”
Bibire, as fondly called, maintained that Osun indigenes all over the world should continue to be good ambassadors, positing that our religious differences and class should never divide us.
“I enjoin us all, wherever we find ourselves, either here or in the diaspora, to keep the flag flying, as we continue to work assiduously in other to put our dear state on the right track. We must continue to remain unified irrespective of our religion and social standing. “
He continued, “I congratulate our dear Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke and the good people of Osun State on this auspicious occasion.”
“I pray that our state will continue to experience immense progress as we march forward,” he concluded.
