Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has expressed heartfelt condolences to the family of late Oyo State governor, Isiaka Ajimobi over the transition to eternal glory of the family’s first daughter, Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi.
The Governor also expressed similar condolences to the Oyo state government and the Kola Daisi family of Ibadan land.
In a message issued today, the state governor described the deceased as a lively professional who made an appreciable impact on the people , calling her exit a sad event for which only God can comfort the family.
While praying for the repose of her soul, Governor Adeleke sympathized with Mrs Florence Ajimobi, wife of the former governor and tasked her to remain strong with unshakeable faith in the Almighty God.
“The situation is not only painful and extremely sad but also a reminder of the irony of life. My prayer for my sister, Mrs Ajimobi, is that the good Lord will uphold her and grant her the fortitude to bear the loss.
“In these trying times, I convey my condolences to the Ajimobi family. The Adeleke family and the government of Osun state identify with the Ajimobis.
“We share your pains but we urge you to remain steadfast in the Lord. We pray God almighty stop such negative events now and in the future “, the governor was quoted as saying in the statement.
