Arsenal have confirmed that defender Mazeed Ogungbo has left the north London club to join Barrow AFC on a permanent transfer.
The Gunners disclosed this in a statement via their website on Wednesday.
Ogungbo will now play for the League Two side next season.
The 20-year-old, who signed his first professional contract for Arsenal in July 2021, joined the club’s academy back in 2015.
Ogungbo made his first-team matchday squad twice during the 2021/22 season.
“We thank Mazeed [Ogungbo] for his contribution and wish him all the best with Barrow AFC,” Arsenal’s statement reads in part.
