Lateef Bakare joined the Board of Firstbank in February 2017. He brings to the Board 41 years’ post-qualification professional work experience from both private and public sectors.
He is an alumnus of Yaba College of Technology and Brookes University, United Kingdom. He is a member of Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), member Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria , Business Recovery and insolvency Practictioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN).
LAB is Senior Partner, Lateef Bakare & Co. He has experience in audit and accountancy, Business Advisory Services, financial and management services, Public Prospectus Issues, Privatisation and Commercialisation Advisory Services, Amalgamation, Mergers and Acquisition consultancy, scheme of reconstruction and deed of arrangement and cooperate secretarial consultancy.
He has served on Board of several companies, attended numerous professional and personal development courses nationwide and globally.
Meanwhile, the new Owa Obokun, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup has appointed Industrialist, Lateef Bakare as the new Ajiroba of Ijeshaland on Sunday.
