Spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke has slammed Rafiu Durodoye, a failed gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), tagging him a shameful professor of disinformation following his questioning of the educational qualifications of the state governor.
In response to an interview granted by the APC aspirant, the Spokesperson said Atlanta Metropolitan College where Governor Adeleke graduated is owned by Georgia State, USA, declaring that it is “ better equipped than most public university in Nigeria”
Describing Durodoye as a questionable late comer into Osun politics with shallow grasp of issues, Mallam Rasheed said Atlanta Metropolitan College parades top class faculty with years of distinguished scholarship in the United States.
The Spokesperson affirmed that the educational qualifications of Governor Adeleke is validated, authenticated and verified locally and internationally, tasking the opposition to face its deepening unpopularity because of its anti-people conducts in the past.
“I listen to the interview of Mr Durodoye. He does not sound like a real professor. He talked like a cleaner at the Dallas College where he claimed to have worked for 37 years.
“If he is truly what he called himself, his statement and manners of speaking will reflect. He sounded like those engaged in garage talks. Even the interviewer had to update him.
“Governor Adeleke’s educational qualifications are not under questioning. The matters were already settled. Authentication of the governor’s qualifications are with the electoral body and relevant national institutions. The governor also demonstrated impact of his education by performing and delivering where many had failed.
“If he is thinking of trending by deriding Mr Governor, that is a failed strategy that has backfired for those who followed that route in the past. Durodoye is a political greenhorn. He should go and learn rudiments of politicking”, the Spokesperson noted.
