…Promises a Block Of Four Classrooms For NASFAT School
The lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State in the National Assembly, Rep. Bamidele Salam, has donated N2 million and food items to support members of the Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society in Ede (NASFAT) during the holy month of Ramadan.
The member of the House of Representatives made the donations during the annual Ramadan lecture organised by the society.
Salam also promised that a block of four classrooms would be constructed for the NASFAT School.
The Missioner of NASFAT Ede, Alhaji Olaniran Olapade Aminu, described Salam as a politician of honour and compassion.
He recalled the lawmaker’s inclusion of NASFAT members in various empowerment programmes, as well as his continued support for the welfare of members, particularly during the Ramadan period.
Aminu also commended the federal lawmaker for providing solar lights for the NASFAT secretariat, noting that the gesture was made without any formal request from the society.
He subsequently led prayers for Salam, asking Allah to grant him protection, guidance and continued blessings in his service to the people.
The guest lecturer at the event, Associate Professor K.K. Busari, Zonal Missioner of NASFAT in Osun State, delivered a lecture emphasising the importance of using wealth to support the poor and promote moral values in society.
Busari also highlighted several philanthropic initiatives undertaken by the lawmaker, describing them as commendable and worthy of emulation by other public office holders.
The programme was part of the annual Ramadan lecture organised by NASFAT Ede, where Representative Salam attended as a special guest.
In his response, Salam expressed appreciation to the society for their prayers and support, while reaffirming his commitment to continuous service and development within the community.
