Speaker Mojisola Meranda is currently presiding over the plenary at the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Ousted Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, who was earlier at the assembly complex is not at the Monday sitting.
The PUNCH reports that Obasa, Meranda and all the lawmakers at the House earlier held a meeting outside the chamber.
The meeting held ahead of the plenary which commenced around 2pm.
Leaders of the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, including Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi, were at the meeting
The Attorney General of Lagos State, Lawal Pedro, was also at the meeting which was expected to resolve the leadership crisis at the House.
Obasa had earlier arrived around 1:30pm to join the lawmakers at the meeting held under a tent.
He later left the meeting after a separate chat with the AG, Ojelabi and other party stakeholders.
It is not certain yet how the leadership tussle between Meranda and Obasa would be resolved, but currently the lawmakers are eulogising Meranda, saluting her leadership so far.
Meranda, a former Deputy Speaker was made the Speaker by over 30 lawmakers on January 13 when the House removed Obasa as speaker.
