Osun Attorney-General Seeks Unity in Ife Zone, Urges Local Gov’t Chairmen to replicate Governor’s good works

The Chief Law Officer in Osun State, Barrister Oluwole Jimi-Bada during his courtesy visit to all the newly inaugurated Local Government Caretaker Chairmen in Ife East local government, Ife Ooye LCDA, Ife Central Local Government, Ife Central West and Area Council in Modakeke yesterday 11th of September 2023, has admonished all council chairmen in Ife Zone to use their good position to finally ends internal discord, factions and disunity which have been preventing the party to maximally deliver Ife zone as it used to do in the previous elections.

In a statement signed by SA to the Attorney-General and Commissioner for justice, in Osun state, Comrade Arewa Oluwaseun Olaposi, on Tuesday stated that;

“The Attorney-General and commissioner for justice, Jimi-Bada couldn’t mince words during his tour to these local council Bosses, The need for Ife Zone PDP to unite as ever, rally around one another, embrace peace and end discord to be able to have one unity of direction towards 2023.

In his words, ” I have come to you, our council chairmen this morning to deliver Governor Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke good tidings, We have all seen the kindness of the governor in terms of impressive political appointees he had given to us in Ife Zone alone. More are still coming. There is a need for us to show appreciation during the coming elections, the time to end disunity and acrimony in the party in Ife Zone is now.

“We must begin to put machinery in place and strategies toward delivering our bulk vote to reelect Governor Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke come 2026. No sacrifice is too much for any well-meaning party members or political officeholders to bear in other to achieve success in the poll”.

Our Chairmen, you all are a round peg in a round hole, I charge you to please let us begin to replicate the good works of the governor in our locality. Our governor’s good gestures to us in Ife Zone must be retaliated come 2026 In shall Allah. The Attorney General reiterated.
