Governor Adeleke, Obaseki commission 2km-road, medical wards in Ilesa

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has commissioned a-2km road in Ilesa, Osun State which was facilitated by Sarumi’s family.

The Iloro-Garage, Isokun road was rehabilitated under the Osun State Infrastructure Development and Social Investment Tax Credit Scheme of Olasunkanmi Rasheed Sarumi, in commemoration of late Alhaja Wasilat Olabisi Sarumi.

Speaking at the commissioning, Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke eulogized the kind gesture of Sarumi’s family for giving back to the society out of the abundant blessings which God has bestowed on them. He added that apart from assisting the government, the road will in no small measure boost the economy of the area.

He therefore charged other philanthropists in the State to emulate Sarumi’s family by contributing their own quota to the development of the State, asserting that government alone can not do it all.

Meanwhile, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, while commissioning the Sarumi Female Medical and Surgical Wards, Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Wesley Guild, Ilesa applauded the family for their commitment to their source. He congratulated Governor Adeleke for having people who are willing to give back to their Community.

He urged the people of the State to support the present administration by paying their taxes and levies, as and when due, in order to contribute to the development of the State.
