Osun PDP meets Caretaker Committee Chairmen, charges them on party developmental agenda

Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party under the Chairmanship of Hon Sunday Bisi today had a breakfast meeting with all the caretaker committee chairmen across the local governments of the state.

In a statement signed by the Party’s Publicity Secretary, Hon Ayodeji Areola and made available to Journalists in Osogbo, the Chairman congratulated the newly appointed chairmen and charged them to settle down to business of qualitative administration in their respective local governments without delay.

Hon Bisi warned that the party will not condone any act of indolence in the third tier of government as according to him, the people at the grassroots are eagerly awaiting immediate transformation in line with electoral promises of the party and that of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

The party also ratified the election of officers into the state chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), as conducted by the local government chairmen.

Hon Awotunde Sarafa Abiodun, who was elected the ALGON chairman, assured the party that the chairmen understand the enormous tasks awaiting them across the local governments and will do everything possible to complement the good works of the state government through people oriented programs at the grassroot.
