… approves age-long good condition of service of service of over 200 staff
…as CMD praises the Governor on the passionate gestures
In a significant gesture of a responsive leader, His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke of Osun State has approved the pending improved conditions of service for over 200 workers of Uniosun Teaching Hospital, categorized under “Group ‘2012/13”. These workers had faced career development challenges for over a decade due to bureaucratic hurdles.
This news was relayed to the highly elated staff by Chief Medical Director of Uniosun Teaching Hospital, Dr. Babatunde Afolabi. Dr. Afolabi expressed profound gratitude to Governor Ademola Adeleke for the gesture. He described the Governor as workers-friendly and commended his prioritization of workers’ welfare in the State at all times.
Dr Afolabi urged the affected staff to see their improved welfare as a call to more duty, emphasizing the need for them to justify their new status by demonstrating enhanced commitment and excellence in their work.
The CMD also praised key stakeholders for their contributions to this present achievement and success story of his administration since he was appointed as the substantive CMD six months ago. Stakeholders like; Dr. Adedeji Adeleke,
Osun State Deputy Governor; Prince Kola Adewusi, Yeye Dupe Sani -Adeleke; Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun and Alhaji Hon. kassim Akinleye (Chief of Staff to the Governor).
Others are Alhaji Hon. Teslim Igbalaye (Secretary to the State Government); Elder Samuel Aina (Osun State Head of Service); Hon. Commissioner for Health; Special Adviser on Public health; Barr. Hon. Niyi Owolade (Chairman, UniOsun Board) and his members; management and staff of UTH; union leaders among others. Hear him:
“Our administration has been enjoying the support of this present government since my appointment on October 31, 2024. This gesture is part of what Mr. Governor promised us during his visit, and he has fulfilled it. He has also promised to fulfill other commitments. Mr. Governor has once again proved that he is truly a man of his word – ‘Mr. Talk and Do’. We only need to continue praying for the success of the government of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke. The people of Osun are indeed fortunate to have a leader like Mr. Governor at the helm of affairs.”
The affected staff who were elevated took turn to pray for Governor Ademola Adeleke and his cabinet members. They jointly prayed for the success of his administration.
