The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) celebrated a significant milestone today as Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, PhD, President of ACCI, alongside Executive Council Members, led the grand breaking ceremony for the ACCI-BEST Centre complex.
In his address, Chief Obegolu, SAN, PhD, outlined the vision behind the proposed three-story building, emphasizing its pivotal role as a central training hub for skill acquisition within the Chamber.
He also described the building as a beacon of knowledge and a platform for acquiring skills that would endure through time.
Expressing passion for the project, Prof Adesoji Adesugba, the First Deputy President, highlighted its historical significance and its potential impact on future generations while commending the President’s visionary leadership in driving this transformative initiative forward.
Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, the Second Deputy President, also expressed his appreciation for the project, whixhnhw said will add value to mankind.
The Director General, Mr Agabaidu Chukwuemeka Jideani, appreciated the President and the two Deputy Presidents for their visionary leadership and promised close management supervision and delivery of the project.
He thanked the Chairman and members of the Project Committee for a thorough job and requested the Contractor to display the same degree of proficiency and professionalism associated with them in the execution of the project.
Among the distinguished attendees were key members of the Executive Council, including Dr. Chijioke Ekechukwu, Vice President of Industry and Project Committee Chairman, Mr. Bode Olatemi Thompson, Vice President of Agriculture, and Barrister (Mrs.) Obiageli Nwosu, Vice President of Women Development and Gender Matters.
Also present were Hajia Hauwa Kaka Usman, General Counsel, other esteemed guests and staff of ACCI.
