The former Caretaker Chairman of PDP in Osun, Dr Akindele Adekunle has reacted to the unruly behaviour and lack of regard for constituted authority exhibited by the former defeated Senator of Osun Central, Bashiru Ajibola at the Osogbo Eid praying ground today.
Ajibola Bashiru had constituted a sort of nuisance in a flagrant disregard to procedural ethics involving political functionaries in public functions
Dr Akindele Adekunle in his reaction said the action of Ajibola Bashiru is tantamount to disrespect to God and Man bearing in mind the importance of the day and event.
” It is quite disturbing that a former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will constitute himself in such condescending and irrational action
” If not for God and wisdom of Governor Ademola Adeleke, there could have been unimaginable situation at the Osogbo Eid praying ground today.
” If Ajibola Bashiru wishes to exhibit his known irrational and erratic behaviour publicly, such a holy day of Eid-Ul-Adha and at an Eid praying ground should have been excused from his preplanned attempt at disrupting the peace of Osun State.
” The display by him and his Apc acolytes is emphatic disrespect to God and the people and this shows why he was rejected at the poll and his party in the state and why they will continue to be rejected.”
The former Caretaker Chairman of PDP in Osun lauded Governor Ademola Adeleke for toeing the path of peace while enjoining him to use the necessary instrument of the law to curb and forestall such situation again.
