The Leadership of Osogbo has enjoined residents of the state capital to disregard any information or action that may disrupt the existing peace in the town.
This is contained in a release jointly signed by the Asiwaju of Osogbo Retired Justice Kunle Adeigbe and the Chairman, Osogbo Action council, Dr. Jimoh Agboola.
The release appreciates the past and present government for considering Osogbo fit and siting federal establishments like the Central Bank of Nigeria, Federal High Court, NAFDAC, National Examination Council, Independent National Electoral Commission office, Nigeria Television Authority and above all, the state Government Secretariat there.
The release also noted that the natural ruler of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Larooye II, and his subjects are taking the necessary steps at securing the state and federal projects sited within its territory.
It calls on it’s neighbouring communities not to go beyond their boundaries as misinformation may mislead the public.
