Northern presidential hopefuls are plotting and scheming at a time former vice president Atiku Abubakar is intensifying his nationwide campaign.
Sokoto state Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Bauchi state governor, Bala Muhammad met this Sunday on the presidential race.
Tambuwal is from North West while Saraki is from North Central. Muhammad is from the North East , the same zone with Atiku Abubakar.
Reports indicated that the Bauchi meeting was to explore the possibility of a consensus candidacy ahead of the primaries
While.details of the meeting are sketchy, it is not clear who is to step down for who .
Additionally ,it is clear Atiku Abubakar is not part of the arrangement.
