Press Statement: Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has hailed the triumph of the Osun PDP State Ward Congresses as a powerful mandate to winning the 2023 elections in Osun and Nigeria.
Addressing Journalists shortly after the Ward congresses conducted in the 332 wards across the 30 Council areas of Osun State, Rt. Hon Fintiri vowed not to let down the sacred trust of the People’s Democratic Party placed on him.
“I take the confidence reposed in me by PDP as a call to duty by God and would not fail in my responsibilities at anytime I’m called upon to serve both my country and party”.
He commended election officials and party faithful for conducting themselves well before, during and after the Congresses.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is optimistic that the emergence of the 3 Man Ad-Adhoc delegates from each ward would deliver during the Special State Congress.
Party officials in Osun who are satisfied with the conduct of the Congresses praised the leadership qualities of Governor Fintiri describing the exercise as the most credible in recent times.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was accompanied by the Member representing Guyuk in the State Assembly Adawa Donglock and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Affairs Abdulrahman Bobboi.
Others include PDP Chieftains Abubakar Isa, Iro Jobdi and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Projects Monitoring Leader Leneke.
