The recent visitations to strategic influence points within and outside the country by the President of African Development Bank , Dr Akinwumi Adesina is creating strong rumour mill about a possible presidential bid.
Many commentators believe Adesina has just concluded his round of consultation with his trips to the White House, Ooni of Ife and today to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Twitter users variously questioned the reluctance of Adesina to join the race. Others urged President Buhari to endorse him while some other users appealed to the former Agriculture minister to indicate interest in the race.
Insiders reports indicated that the ruling party is prepared to grant waiver to Adesina and others who want to join the party and seek the Presidency.
