School Resumption: Osun SUBEB Chair Charges Teachers to Be More Committed to Their Work

A call has gone to teachers across Osun State to show more commitment to duty in a bid to move Osun educational system to greater height.

The Executive Chairman, Osun State Universal Basic Education Board, Hon Ibukun Fadipe gave the charge while on a monitoring exercise of the resumption of the 2025/2026 academic session.

Hon. Fadipe during the inspection exercise addressed learners as well as teachers on ground to perform their duties judiciously and advised learners on the need to take their education very seriously.

Hon. Fadipe, while at each of the schools visited, implored teachers to intensify their efforts more on their learners reading and writing skills inorder to produce vibrant future generations.

The Osun SUBEB boss stated that the Governor Ademola Adeleke led administration is determined to produce sound minded, knowledgeable, intelligent and disciplined individuals.

He explained that the present government is spending heavily on education, while giving example of the recent instructional material worth millions of naira distributed to various schools across the State to make teaching and learning more enjoyable to both teachers and learners and thereby uplifting the State Education Sector to greater heights

Hon. Fadipe also urged parents and guardians to release their children for school, while charging them to take the education of their children very important by providing for them all other necessary learning materials including their school uniforms.

On the entourage of the Executive Chairman was the Osun SUBEB Full time member 2, Alhaji Tiamiyu Amaoo Ganiyu while Schools visited include: LA Primary School A and B Alusekere, Ede, Seventh Day Adventist Primary 1 and 2 Ede among others.
