Adeleke Congratulates Olowu of Kuta at 62, Praises Monarch’s Leadership

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has felicitated the Olowu of Kuta, His Royal Majesty Oba Hameed Adekunle Makama Oyelude (Tegbosun III), on the occasion of his 62nd birthday, describing the traditional ruler as a symbol of exemplary leadership and a steadfast promoter of peace and Yoruba cultural heritage.

In a congratulatory message issued on Tuesday by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the governor commended the monarch for his unwavering commitment to the development of Kuta and his efforts in fostering unity among his people.

Governor Adeleke, who visited the Olowu’s palace on Monday during his campaign tour of the town, said Oba Oyelude’s humility, accessibility and inclusive leadership style have endeared him to his subjects and earned him widespread respect.

He noted that the monarch’s dedication to peace, stability and cultural preservation has continued to strengthen harmony within the community while promoting the rich traditions of the Yoruba people.

“On this auspicious occasion, I congratulate His Royal Majesty, Oba Hameed Adekunle Makama Oyelude (Tegbosun III), on his 62nd birthday. Oba Oyelude exemplifies purposeful leadership, considering the profound impact of his reign on his subjects and on Kuta, a major community in the Owu Kingdom,” the governor said.

He added, “As Kabiyesi celebrates another year today, I join the sons and daughters of Kuta in honouring his remarkable leadership and his unwavering commitment to peace, stability and the unity of his domain.”

Governor Adeleke also praised the monarch’s consistent promotion of Yoruba customs and traditions, noting that his public engagements and conduct have helped sustain interest in the cultural values of the Yoruba race.

“I pray that God Almighty grants Kabiyesi many more years in good health, strength and wisdom, so that he will continue to provide impactful leadership and make lasting contributions to the promotion of Yoruba culture, traditions and values,” the governor said.
