Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has charged the newly inaugurated committee members of both Osun United and Osun Babes to work in tune with his sports development agenda .
The Governor stated this during the inaugural meeting of the Committee where he told them to begin to work and revamp the sports sector of the State in order to return the lost glory of the State, especially ,in football.
The Governor spoke at the meeting through the state Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi who also doubles as the Commissioner for Sports in the State.
The Governor vowed to fully support the committees to surmount every obstacle that may want to stand as hinderances to the development of both Osun United and Osun Babes.
In their separate reactions, Chairmen of both Committees on Osun United and Osun Babes, Mr Akin Maxwell and Mrs Tola Usman ,who expressed gratitude on their call to service, promised not to let the State down.
“We are ready to put the name of the State among the names of States doing well in football, in Nigeria, as well as the world at the world at large”, they said.
