Governor Adeleke Celebrates Alayemore of Ido-Osun on Birthday

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated the Alayemore of Ido-Osun, Oba Olayinka Ishola Jokotola, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a monarch whose leadership has continued to inspire peace, progress and development in his domain.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the governor praised the royal father’s dedication to public service, noting that his distinguished career in the Nigeria Police Force and his reign as the Alayemore have been defined by selfless service and commitment to the welfare of his people.
Adeleke said the monarch has remained steadfast in promoting the interests of the people of Ido-Osun while driving meaningful development across the community.
The governor also commended Oba Jokotola for preserving the town’s rich cultural heritage while embracing modern development, saying his leadership has successfully combined tradition with innovation for the benefit of the people.
“I rejoice with His Royal Majesty, Oba Olayinka Ishola Jokotola, the Alayemore of Ido-Osun, on the occasion of his birthday. Oba Jokotola is a traditional ruler who has dedicated himself to the service of the people.
He risked his life as a police officer in the pursuit of peace and security, and today, as a monarch, he continues to mobilise the resources available to him to foster stability and development in Ido-Osun,” the governor said.
Adeleke added that the monarch’s commitment to community development and good leadership has earned him the admiration of his subjects and well-wishers.
“On this special day, I join his family, the people of Ido-Osun, friends and admirers across the world in celebrating Kabiyesi and acknowledging his invaluable contributions to building a society that serves both present and future generations,” he said.
The governor prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health and strength for the royal father, expressing hope that he would enjoy many more years of purposeful service to his people.
“I pray that Almighty God grants Kabiyesi many more years in good health, renewed strength and abundant blessings as he continues to provide exemplary leadership for the people of Ido-Osun,” Adeleke added
